Fabien Lhuillier and Yanis Desangles founded Mecosun in April 2008 boasting 3 years of experience in photovoltaics. After having encountered significant problems with the installation systems available on the market which did not meet their needs, they decided to create their own integration structure. The practical, reliable and aesthetic MV3 integration system meets the integration criteria that they previously set.
The development of temperature controls and avant-gardism led our Research and Development department to develop multiple products like the MKR, MVO and MV3i systems, which have all been patented. The latter received a mention from the board at the Innovation Awards at the 2009 Lyon Renewable Energy exhibition.
Over the last few years, our client base has expanded significantly; local SMEs as well as large national and international companies have entrusted us with their projects and we thank them for that. To cope with this increased demand for integration structures in France and internationally, Mecosun has put a reliable distribution network in place to respond to these needs.

Our know-how is based on the skills of our structural engineers from the world of aviation.
With their experience from the execution of more than 1,200,000 m² of solar roofs in Europe, our Research and Development department is developing innovative solutions keeping ventilation for the solar generators as a target whilst improving aestheticism and speed of assembly.
Our integration systems with no underlay were designed to facilitate assembly of the photovoltaic panels onto all types of roof structure and to replace any existing coverings. Tests carried out on our installations demonstrate extraordinary resistance to wind and the weight of snow, and proved watertight in all conditions.
